- This is one of the best children's novels I have read. My 7 year old son LOVED it and so did I! I was disappointed when he read some with a babysitter because I didn't want to miss the story. I highly recommend it. Great for all kids, girls and boys!

I read this story to my 6-year-old son and 8-year-old son over the course of a week. It's about 200 pages as a chapter book. They were ENTHRALLED the whole time. We ended up reading 50 pages on the last night so they could hear the end.
The book is funny (even for adults!), engaging, and teaches good lessons. I could not recommend this book enough.
If you like the Story Pirates podcast (if you're not a listener with your kids, you should be!), then you'll love this book.

Boston Massachusetts - My daughter absolutely loved reading this book with me every night and became very interested in dissecting elements of the story. It was both entertaining and has also fed her creativity. Very thankful to this brand. My daughter literally asked me for the next story so we are of course eager for more story pirates content. Meanwhile I’m encouraging her to write her own next story while we wait!
