• Holy. Awesome. Book. It is very high quality, hard-cover, and contains a lot more pages that I expected. There are a lot of questions and lots of room to write stuff down, which is what I was looking for. There are not really any places for pictures, except for a pouch in the back, but that's what photo albums are for. The graphics are nice, not super baby-ish and not really old fashioned. Text is large enough for grandmas to read, and lines are big enough for large handwriting. It starts with grandma telling about HER grandparents, then her parents, then herself throughout her life, and onto her child and finally the grandchild. It is perfect.
• I can't give this book enough stars!! The graphics in it are beautiful, the questions meaningful, and the book itself is of high quality. Yes, there is plenty of room to write in responses, it's a memory journal, that's the whole point. I plan on filling this in with my grandma over the phone (long distance separates us) and treat it as an interview/q&a. It's for my daughter, so she'll be filling it in as a great grandma, and I'm just so excited to begin. I bought this not knowing exactly what it was going to be like inside, and I'm so happy I did! Highly recommended!
  
  My only suggestion would be for this company to make a grandfather version, as this book is definitely meant for a grandmother to write in only.
• This book is excellent! I was given one a year ago as a gift celebrating the birth of my first granddaughter.. I was amazed at the different sections to write about my past and will make a treasured keepsake for my precious granddaughter. I loved it so much that I purchased one for a very dear cow-worker who was going to be enjoying her first granddaughter. Like me, she was thrilled at the contents of the book. Anyone who purchases this book won't be disappointed.
• This is the most considerate gift I feel that you could ever give to any grandparent or grandparent to be. I got it for mine because she is 85, there really wasn’t much else that she needed and with her being in the process of feeling like she won’t be around for too much longer I wanted to have the memories of her stay alive. She absolutely loved it and it was the best gift she had gotten. One where she got to interact with and share her memories and stories from when she was little. It provides family recipes, why her parents named her the way they did, how many siblings she had and their birth dates, the big news that she remembers growing up. Most of all, it was something that she could share with her great grand child when we decide to have a family of our own. She will still be a part of our family and seen throughout. This book also includes a photo envelope on the back. Worth getting!
• We used this as our way to announce to my mother-in-law that we were expecting. Let me tell you, she just about burst my eardrums when she realized what this was! It's a very beautiful book and definitely made for a grandma who loves to journal, remember special memories, and is very sentimental.
• Got three of these. One for each mom and one for my mother-in-law. All 3 women loved the book. It’s gorgeous with beautiful illustrations and a nice hard cover. One of my recipients doesn’t have any info about the father so it was important to me that there were few of any questions regarding the dad. This book is perfect for that. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
• I ordered this as a gift for a friend having her first grandchild. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this book is! It covers so much from the grandmother's feelings & thoughts on the baby's arrival, chapters on the baby's parents & their life, the grandmother's life story, family traditions, & even pages for family recipes. It's a nice big size with a hard cover & for the price I think it's a wonderful gift for any grandmother!
• This is a wonderful keepsake book. There is plenty of space to write and each page includes prompts. There’s room to record details. There’s a pocket in back to hold memorabilia & it has a fill-in family tree. The book is well made & is hard cover. It’s made to last.
