"Excellent Homlesian foray, and fun in French. I am continuing to be pleased re-reading these works in my second language, and it is surprisingly entertaining, despite having an idea of how it will turn out. The main reason I checked 'full of surprises' is I love the ending of this story, probably one of my favorite Sherlock endings. Perry Mason has nothing on this guy! Also, this is probably the ending that most reminds me of French cinema, with the convoluted relationships, only missing the kissing cousins - but not by much!
If you are looking for a more modern, near future police procedural, then I recommend Trickster's Thunder Trickster's Thunder (Trickster Chronicles Book 1). Enjoy!"
